Terms of service

Last updated October 7, 2026

Parked Care is a service of Charwa LLC.

Draft. This page describes how the service works today and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

What we do

We send a mechanic to your home or workplace to do routine maintenance on your vehicle. You choose the services, the day and an arrival window when you book.

The work is done by independent mechanics who work with us as contractors. They carry their own insurance and we check it before offering them work.

Prices and approval

Before you book, we show you each service, its price, the sales tax and the total. Booking is your approval for that work at that total, and we keep a record of what you approved.

If the mechanic finds something else that needs doing, it is not done and not charged unless you approve it first.

Payment

You put a card on file when you book. It is charged only after the work is done, for the total you approved. If you booked by phone, we will ask you to add a card.

If a charge fails, we will ask you to update your card.

Cancelling or moving a visit

You can cancel a visit yourself, free of charge, until 1 hour before your arrival window starts. After that, or to move a visit to another time, contact us.

We may need to move or cancel a visit, for example in bad weather or if no mechanic is available. We will tell you as soon as we know.

What we need from you

A safe, legal place to work on the vehicle, on level ground, with room around it, and access to the vehicle and its keys during the arrival window.

If the mechanic cannot do the work, for example because the vehicle is not there or the location is not safe, the visit is recorded as not completed and we will tell you why.

Inspection report

With each visit the mechanic checks a list of items and reports what they saw. It is a visual check on the day, not a guarantee of the vehicle's condition.

Text messages

We text a code to your mobile number to sign you in. If you agree when you book, we also text you updates about your visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop visit updates, or HELP for help.
